Finalizing Fritz!

We want Fritz! :) And I think he'd say the same about us. His adoption papers are in the mail (as of tomorrow).

He's having a good time with his new squirrel-watching buddy and partner in Tabby-ness, Johnny.



And things are much calmer between Fritz and Katie. He's been more respectful of her space and it's only making her more interested in what he's doing! So, he's using reverse psychology. Smart boy.

Our cats were never interested, so Fritz has claimed it for his own! So much so that it has to be put "to bed" at night so we can sleep.

We were kind of dreading the announcement of three cats. For some reason, that's the magic "crazy" number. The reactions from our mothers: "You'll know when you have enough cats!" and "Three cats?!?!" The former was much more supportive. The latter? Well, it's pretty well crushed her dream of us realizing "our" dream of living in a downtown high-rise. Yee-ha!
